About our raffle

Did you know that we have 140 apartments being built behind us? Whilst weekends and evenings are still nice and peaceful in our space, we can hear the noisy bastards during the day on Mon-Fri from our chapel and big room. Instead of stressing about the noise, we’re instead going to dance our way through it. With dancing comes music and with music we drown out the construction noise. Genius. 

We’ve started offering $22 per hour rehearsal rates during the day on mon-fri, which has been a hit (not to mention how nice it is to welcome more and more dancers into our space!) We also took the construction noise as a sign from the universe to get a liquor licence - done! Our next strategic (dance) move is to expand our danceable spaces. Our chapel would be a dreamy dance studio but the concrete floors make it HARD. 

So over the coming month, our mate Ben is making us a sprung dance floor for the chapel! Come mid-January, we’ll have a whole new danceable space to offer our Take Care community.

It seems running a small business these days requires constant pivoting (and pirouetting) to survive the ever changing circumstances. So this is our pivot to ensure we sail on through the next 12 months and beyond. 

Floors aren’t cheap so we’re launching this raffle to help cover the costs of the floor and help us pay the rent while the works are happening. Thank you so much to all of our supporters. ♥️ ♥️ ♥️
